Built for my beautiful wife, who doesn't have time to surf hundreds of websites just to find the right dress.

Why I built this

Hi, I'm Taleef. I'm an orthopedic surgeon and a loving husband around the clock. My wife is an immigration attorney, spending her days helping clients navigate a system that's often unfair — and at times, deeply unjust. She rarely has time for herself.

So when she finally sits down to find the right dress for an event, and I watch her open one site, then another, then another — fifteen tabs deep and still searching — it breaks my heart. She's already given so much of her week to other people. The last thing she needs is to lose another evening to broken search bars and endless scrolling.

That's why I built DressMatcher. One place to describe what you want, in your own words. One search across hundreds of retailers, ranked by how well a dress actually fits the moment. No twenty-tab marathon. No starting from scratch on every site.

It's a small thing. But it's the small thing I could do — to give her, and anyone else stretched thin, a little of that time back.
